Brass Coupling Nut

Use these long nuts to join or extend threaded rods or studs.

Nuts less than 3" long (as well as all metric nuts) are fully threaded; nuts 3" and longer are tapped halfway from each end (not fully threaded). All nuts have right-hand threads except Nos. 1JB69 through 1JB79. Hot dipped galvanized steel nuts have tapped oversized threads; for use with hot dipped galvanized rod.
